GRC installation requires professional tools and equipment. According to installation process requirements, four main categories of tools are typically needed: measurement, cutting, fixing, and inspection. Based on 28 years of installation experience, Qinglong GRC has established comprehensive tool configuration standards.

In the Wuhan Han Show Theater project, the installation team was fully equipped with professional tools: a Leica total station was used for measurement with layout precision of ±1mm; a German-imported stone cutter was used for cutting, producing smooth cuts with no chipped edges; a dedicated hydraulic lifting platform was used for fixing, safe and efficient; and an electronic level was used for inspection with precise flatness control. This professional tool configuration ensured the installation quality of the project, with installation tolerances of over 10,000 shaped GRC panels all kept within the allowable range.

Measuring and Positioning Tools

A total station is used for setting out datum points, with an accuracy requirement of ±1″. A laser line projector is used for marking wall lines to ensure accurate positioning. A digital spirit level checks flatness with a precision of 0.1°. These tools guarantee installation accuracy.

Cutting and Trimming Tools

A stone cutter is used for cutting panels, fitted with dedicated cutting blades. An angle grinder handles edges and corners and must be equipped with a dust extraction device. An electric drill makes holes using carbide drill bits. Tool performance directly affects installation quality.

Installation and Fixing Tools

An electric torque wrench controls bolt tightening force with a precision of ±3%. A hydraulic lifting platform ensures safe work at height. Vacuum suction cups hoist large panels safely and reliably. Specialized tools improve installation efficiency.

Inspection and Acceptance Tools

A feeler gauge checks panel joint width with a precision of 0.1mm. A straightedge, 2m in length, tests flatness. A laser distance meter verifies dimensions. These tools ensure acceptance standards are met.
