As the "face" of a building's exterior, curtain wall panels place the most stringent demands on the structural strength and weather resistance of GRC products. High-quality GRC curtain wall panels must use high-purity quartz sand and alkali-resistant glass fibers, with flexural strength reaching 15MPa or above, together with excellent freeze-thaw resistance (no damage after 200 freeze-thaw cycles) and impact resistance. In its production process, Qinglong uses an automated material distribution system to ensure uniform fiber distribution, and has introduced 3D scanning technology to achieve installation accuracy with tolerances of ≤2mm. For decorative moldings, the finishing touch of architectural details, quality differences are mainly reflected in forming precision and surface texture. Traditional European-style moldings must accurately reproduce complex profiles such as Roman columns and cornices, requiring mold machining precision at the 0.1mm level, while modern minimalist-style moldings place higher demands on surface flatness, with errors needing to be controlled within 0.5mm/m. With a special release agent developed by its provincial engineering technology center, Qinglong can achieve a molding surface smoothness of Ra1.6μm. In the Dongguan Women and Children's Activity Center project, nearly a thousand GRC moldings were installed with "zero-error" joints.
GRC relief products put the material's shaping capability and artistic expressiveness to an even greater test. High-difficulty reliefs require a fluid GRC formulation to ensure the material fully fills the fine textures of the mold, along with gradient adjustment of fiber content (surface-layer fiber content reaching 5%) to guarantee the three-dimensional effect of the pattern. Qinglong has an art products production line with an annual capacity of 600,000 square meters. Its digital engraving technology can convert design drawings into molds with a precision of 0.05mm; it once successfully created an 8-meter-high GRC relief wall for a cultural center, achieving a detail reproduction rate of over 98%. Quality control of GRC products for different applications is also reflected in the post-processing stage. Curtain wall panels require fluorocarbon coating to improve stain resistance, moldings require waterproof sealing to prevent efflorescence, and reliefs require a special curing process to avoid surface cracking. Under the full-process quality traceability system Qinglong has established, products must pass 12 inspection procedures from raw material inspection to finished product shipment. The "Technical Standard for Building Application of Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement (GRC)" (JGJ/T423-2018), in the drafting of which Qinglong participated, has become an important basis for industry quality specifications.
