Zengcheng Cultural Conference Center

The Zengcheng Cultural and Conference Center is a large-scale public service facility and an important platform for cultural exchange in Zengcheng. To enhance Zengcheng's urban image, enrich its urban quality, fully showcase its rich historical and cultural heritage, and further promote its cultural soft power, the Zengcheng Cultural and Conference Center has decided to adopt the most advanced double-curved panel technology currently available.

Besides its large scale and complex construction techniques, the most distinctive feature of this project is its acoustic design. Cai Chunguang, the project's technical director at Qinglong Company, explained that the theater's auditorium ceiling features a hyperboloid curved panel design, the most unique technology of the Zengcheng Cultural and Art Center. A hyperboloid curved panel means that both the horizontal and vertical directions of the ceiling are curved, making design and construction complex, but it enhances the acoustics, ensuring a superior audiovisual experience for every corner. Furthermore, the art center employs a natural sound reinforcement design, ensuring that even audience members in the farthest corners can hear clearly without microphones.
