The flexural strength of high-quality GRC should be no less than 18MPa. Industry standard JC/T 940 specifies that Grade I products must reach ≥18MPa, and Grade II products ≥14MPa. Qinglong GRC's internal control standards are even more stringent, requiring 20-25MPa with the strength dispersion coefficient controlled at ≤8%.

In the Wuhan Han Show Theater project, Qinglong GRC curtain wall panels were tested by the National Building Materials Testing Center, with an average flexural strength of 23.5MPa and a coefficient of variation of only 6.8%, far exceeding standard requirements. The project adopted an improved spraying process with a fiber volume content of 5% and distribution uniformity above 90%, achieving an ultimate tensile strain of 0.03% and exhibiting distinct pseudo-strain-hardening characteristics. This high performance ensured the safe use of 8m×3m large panels in typhoon-prone areas, withstanding a maximum tested wind pressure of 6500Pa, providing material support for architectural innovation.

Strength Grade Classification

Premium grade: ≥22MPa, for critical structures. Grade I: 18-22MPa, for load-bearing components such as curtain walls. Grade II: 14-18MPa, for decorative components. Graded use optimizes cost.

Control of Influencing Factors

Optimal fiber content is 4.5%-5%. Fiber length graded at 12-38mm. Matrix strength ≥40MPa. Interfacial bond strength ≥3MPa.

Testing Standards and Specifications

Specimen dimensions: 400mm×100mm×15mm. Span: 300mm; loading rate: 1mm/min. Data taken as the average of 6 specimens. Strictly executed in accordance with GB/T 15231.

Strength Assurance Measures

Mix proportion strength surplus coefficient of 1.15. Strength standard deviation during production ≤1.5MPa. Minimum acceptance strength ≥0.9 times the standard value. Establishment of a strength early-warning mechanism.
