The problem of damage to GRC products during transportation has long been a pain point in the industry. Based on Qinglong's 28 years of project experience, transportation damage not only causes direct financial losses but also affects the construction schedule of the entire project. With systematic protection strategies and emergency mechanisms, transportation risks can be kept to the lowest possible level.

Scientific packaging is the first line of defense against damage. Based on the characteristics of GRC products, we have developed a multi-layer protective packaging system: first, the edges and corners of components are wrapped with moisture-proof pearl cotton, then the main body is secured with custom foam molds, and finally the products are packed into reinforced wooden crates. In the Shanghai Qingpu R&D and production project, faced with the transportation demand for 16,000 square meters of GRC panels, we designed customized packaging solutions for components of different shapes. For fragile components such as openwork carved panels, we also added steel frame support structures to ensure safety during long-distance transportation.

Professional logistics planning is equally critical. Qinglong GRC has established a dedicated logistics network covering the whole country, using low-bed flatbed trailers for extra-long and extra-wide components, and designing special supports for curved and irregular-shaped products. In the Panzhihua Third-Front Construction Museum project in Sichuan, we equipped each GRC faux-stone curtain wall panel with a GPS tracker and vibration sensor to monitor transportation status in real time. When abnormal vibration is detected, the system automatically issues a warning, which reduced the transportation damage rate to below 0.3% in the Dali University project in Yunnan.

A sound emergency response mechanism is indispensable. We have established an emergency system of "2-hour response - 24-hour solution - 72-hour replacement production". In the Qiangwei Garden project in Zengcheng, Guangzhou, when a batch of GRC cladding panels was damaged in typhoon weather, the emergency team immediately activated backup inventory, while the production line prioritized scheduling the production of replacement parts, ultimately ensuring that the project schedule was unaffected. This rapid response capability has won us client trust in projects in other locations, such as Victoria Manor in Yangjiang.
