Precision control of multi-curved UHPC panel splicing is the core technology for ensuring architectural visual continuity, achieved through a systematic approach of "unified datum - error allocation - real-time correction". Qinglong Group sets splicing precision standards at joint width error ≤±1.5mm, adjacent panel height difference ≤2mm, and overall surface smoothness deviation ≤3mm/5m. Through total station setting out (accuracy ±2mm) and adjustable connection systems, perfect alignment of tens of thousands of double-curved panels was achieved in projects such as the Nanning Wuxiang China Resources MixC.
A unified datum is the foundation of precision. A project-wide global coordinate system is established, and actual substrate data is obtained through 3D laser scanning, then compared with the BIM model to generate correction parameters. Qinglong Group uses Leica total stations to establish control networks, keeping installation datum point errors within ±1mm. For curved shapes, dedicated positioning templates are fabricated to ensure the accurate spatial orientation of each panel. In the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center project, 137 potential collision points were detected and corrected through digital pre-assembly.
The error allocation system is scientific and rational. The total error is broken down into four parts: mold fabrication (±0.5mm), production deformation (±1mm), survey and setting out (±1mm), and installation adjustment (±1.5mm), with tolerance limits set for each stage. Statistical process control (SPC) is used to monitor error accumulation, ensuring the final precision meets standards. Through strict process control, Qinglong Group keeps the error dispersion coefficient within 5%.
Real-time correction guarantees the final result. During installation, laser trackers monitor positioning accuracy in real time, with fine-tuning achieved through 3D adjustable brackets (adjustment range ±5mm). Standard spacer blocks control joint width, and sealant is applied with uniform thickness. Through this closed-loop control system, multi-curved UHPC curtain walls deliver a smooth and flawless visual performance.
