UHPC exterior walls achieve integrated thermal insulation by connecting decorative UHPC panels, high-efficiency insulation core materials (such as rock wool and polyurethane), and load-bearing substrates (concrete or masonry walls) through reliable structural connections, forming a trinity composite wall system of "decoration–insulation–structure". The UHPC thermal insulation composite large panels launched by Qinglong Group achieve a heat transfer coefficient (K-value) of 0.30 W/(m²·K) or below, combining outstanding decorative effects with ultra-low energy consumption performance, making them an ideal solution for meeting the 75% building energy efficiency standard. The technical core lies in solving the problems of bonding reliability at the interfaces of different materials, thermal bridge interruption, and waterproof sealing.
Structural design is the key to success. We adopt the proven system of "vertical-fiber rock wool strips + thermal-break connectors". UHPC panels and the insulation layer (typically 100–150 mm thick rock wool with tensile strength perpendicular to the panel surface ≥15 kPa) are bonded in the factory with waterproof structural adhesive and additionally secured with plastic anchors. The connectors are critical: thermal-break anchors made of low thermal conductivity materials such as glass-fiber reinforced nylon (thermal conductivity ≤0.3 W/m·K) must be used to anchor the composite panels to the substrate, completely cutting off cold bridges. Multiple seals and drainage cavities are provided at panel joints to prevent water seepage from forming thermal bridges.
Production processes ensure performance. On Qinglong Group's automated production lines, UHPC face layer casting, insulation application, and composite pressing are completed in one step, ensuring a bond strength ≥0.1 MPa. Tongue-and-groove joints or interlocking slots are provided around the panels, forming a continuous insulation layer during installation. For ultra-low energy consumption buildings, vacuum insulation panels (VIP) can also be integrated to achieve higher thermal resistance at a thinner thickness.
The integrated design offers significant advantages. Factory prefabrication ensures quality, on-site installation is fast (construction period shortened by 50%), and it avoids the cracking and detachment risks of traditional external wall external insulation systems. The Qinglong UHPC integrated insulation system provides green buildings with a highly durable and highly decorative envelope solution.
