The design of hoisting plans for large UHPC artistic forms is a systematic engineering process integrating mechanical analysis, equipment selection, and safety control. For artistic components weighing 3-8 tons each and measuring over 6 meters, Qinglong Group has established a four-step method of "calculation–simulation–implementation–monitoring", determining hoisting points through finite element analysis (safety factor ≥4) and adopting vacuum suction cup lifting devices (suction force ≥2.5 times the component weight). In projects such as Hainan Changying Global 100 Park and the Shanghai Astronomy Museum, hundreds of large artworks have been precisely positioned with hoisting errors ≤±3mm.
The hoisting plan is based on precise calculations. Hoisting point positions are determined through center-of-gravity analysis to avoid eccentric lifting. The wire rope angle is calculated (usually ≤60°) to control force components. Dynamic analysis accounts for wind load and acceleration effects. Qinglong Group uses ANSYS to simulate the hoisting process and identify potential risk points. For irregularly shaped components, 1:10 scale models are made for hoisting trials to verify plan feasibility.
Lifting devices are selected to match the components. Flat panels preferably use vacuum suction cups with a suction area ≥30% and uniform pressure. Irregular sculptures use dedicated lifting frames with multi-point balanced loading. Corner protectors are added where wire ropes contact components to prevent edge damage. Lifting equipment capacity should have a margin of more than 20%, operated at low speed and smoothly. Qinglong Group's hoisting team is certified and highly experienced.
Safety control covers the entire process. Before hoisting, technical briefings and trial lifts are conducted (held 20cm off the ground for 5 minutes). Warning zones are set up on site, and operations stop when wind force exceeds level 6. A real-time monitoring system tracks hoisting stresses. Comprehensive emergency plans are in place to handle unexpected situations. Through scientific design and rigorous execution, large UHPC art hoisting is safe and efficient.
