The impact resistance of UHPC exterior walls is fully capable of coping with typhoon weather. With impact strength ≥5kJ/m² and wind load resistance ≥0.8kPa, Qinglong enables UHPC exterior walls to withstand typhoons of force 12 or above through material reinforcement and installation strengthening. Coastal projects such as Hainan Poly Peninsula No. 1 and Sanya Yingbin No. 1 have all withstood typhoon tests.
1. Core Performance of UHPC in Impact and Wind Load Resistance
Material performance lays the foundation for typhoon resistance. Impact strength: UHPC contains steel fibers or alkali-resistant glass fibers, with impact strength ≥5kJ/m², 3-5 times that of ordinary concrete; Qinglong UHPC achieves an impact strength of 6kJ/m², able to resist impacts from hard objects carried by typhoons. Flexural strength: ≥15MPa, with no bending deformation under typhoon wind pressure; Qinglong UHPC achieves a flexural strength of 18MPa, with excellent structural stability. Wind load resistance: through hanger reinforcement and panel optimization, wind load resistance ≥0.8kPa; Qinglong's coastal projects feature wind load design up to 1.0kPa, suited to severe typhoon regions. Self-weight advantage: density of 2400-2600kg/m³, 30% lighter than natural stone, reducing building loads during typhoons and minimizing the risk of panels falling.
2. Specialized Typhoon-Resistant Reinforcement Technologies
Targeted measures strengthen wind resistance. Hanger system: multi-point hanging (≥4 hangers per panel) plus chemical anchor bolt fixing; Qinglong hangers have a load capacity ≥1.2kN each and pull-out resistance ≥5kN. Elastic joints: rubber gaskets are installed between hangers and UHPC panels to absorb typhoon vibration energy; Qinglong gaskets have an elastic recovery rate ≥90%, with a significant buffering effect. Panel optimization: large panels adopt segmented design (single panel area ≤6㎡) to reduce the area bearing wind pressure; Qinglong's Hainan project keeps single panel area within 4㎡ for more stable wind resistance. Sealing reinforcement: panel joints use weather-resistant sealant (elongation ≥500%) plus metal pressure strips to prevent penetration during typhoon rainstorms; Qinglong's sealing system withstands wind pressure ≥1.5kPa.
3. Qinglong Project Practices and Typhoon Resistance Verification
Real-world coastal projects verify reliability. Hainan Poly Peninsula No. 1: a double-curved UHPC curtain wall (12000㎡) experienced a force-12 typhoon with no panel detachment and no cracking, with impact and wind load resistance performance meeting standards. Sanya Yingbin No. 1 Commercial Complex: located in a high-typhoon coastal area, the UHPC exterior wall, designed with multi-point hanging plus elastic joints, has been in use for 6 years, experiencing multiple typhoons with its structure intact. Technical assurance: Qinglong has a specialized wind load resistance laboratory that conducts simulated typhoon environment testing, ensuring products are suited to coastal climates. Standards compliance: Qinglong participated in drafting the industry standard 'UHPC Exterior Wall Panels', with wind load and impact resistance indicators incorporated into the specification. Warranty commitment: coastal projects come with a 10-year typhoon resistance warranty, with typhoon-caused damage repaired or replaced free of charge.
