The strength requirements for thin GRC decorative panels (typically those with a thickness ≤15mm) mainly comply with the "Glass Fibre Reinforced Cement (GRC) Decorative Products" standard (JC/T940-2022), specifically: compressive strength ≥30MPa, flexural strength ≥8MPa, and impact strength ≥3kJ/m². Through fibre optimization and process upgrades, Qinglong ensures that thin panels consistently exceed these strength requirements by more than 20%. The 15mm thick panels at the Wuhan Hanxiu Theater and the 4mm ultra-thin panels at the Meixihu Boston MIZU Salon both meet application requirements.
I. Core Strength Indicators: Quantified Standards and Significance
Three core strength indicators ensure safe use. Compressive strength: ≥30MPa, ensuring the panels are not crushed when bearing their own weight and installation loads; Qinglong's 15mm thin panels achieve a compressive strength of 35-40MPa, far exceeding the standard. Flexural strength: ≥8MPa, resisting bending deformation and wind loads to prevent warping after installation; Qinglong thin panels achieve a flexural strength of 10-12MPa with excellent deformation resistance. Impact strength: ≥3kJ/m², withstanding daily collisions and construction impacts; Qinglong's 10mm panels achieve an impact strength of 4-5kJ/m² and are not easily damaged. Additional requirement: bond strength ≥1.0MPa (bonding with the substrate); Qinglong's special bonding agent achieves a bond strength of 1.5MPa, ensuring a firm installation without falling off.
II. Keys to Meeting Strength Requirements: Material and Process Control
Materials and processes directly determine the strength of thin panels. Fibre content: alkali-resistant glass fibre content ≥2.2%, forming a three-dimensional reinforcement network; Qinglong precisely controls fibre content at 2.2-2.5%, with uniform distribution and no agglomeration. Aggregate gradation: 0.15-0.6mm continuously graded quartz sand is selected to improve density; Qinglong aggregates have a mud content ≤0.3% and a density ≥2.2g/cm³. Admixture addition: polycarboxylate superplasticizer (dosage 0.8-1.2%) is added to reduce the water-cement ratio to 0.38-0.42 and reduce drying shrinkage cracks; Qinglong's admixtures increase thin panel strength by 20%. Production process: high-pressure vibration (≥2500 times/min) + steam curing (40-45°C, 48 hours) to accelerate the hydration reaction; Qinglong's process enables thin panels to reach 80% of the design strength within 7 days.
III. Qinglong's Strength Testing and Project Practice
Full-process testing and case studies verify strength reliability. Factory testing: 3 specimens are sampled from each batch and tested for strength according to the GB/T 15231 standard; Qinglong's factory testing pass rate reaches 99.8%. On-site sampling: random inspections are conducted before project installation, and installation proceeds only after the strength meets requirements; the sampling pass rate for Qinglong's Shenzhen Pingshan High-tech Zone project was 100%. Project cases: the 15mm thin carved GRC panels at the Wuhan Hanxiu Theater achieve a flexural strength of 11MPa and an impact strength of 4.5kJ/m², meeting complex shaping and application requirements; the 4mm ultra-thin GRC panels at the Meixihu Boston MIZU Salon achieve a flexural strength of 8.5MPa through optimized fibre distribution and processes, and have been successfully applied in acoustic decoration scenarios.
