Wind pressure deformation performance testing of GRC curtain walls must follow the Technical Standard for Building Application of Glass Fibre Reinforced Cement (GRC) (JGJ/T423-2018). Through a four-step process of specimen preparation, testing equipment setup, step loading tests, and result determination, the core testing focuses on deformation and failure status. Relying on professional testing capabilities and project experience, Qinglong ensures accurate test data, with a 100% pass rate across multiple projects.
I. Pre-Test Preparation: Specimen and Equipment Requirements
Preparation directly affects the accuracy of test results. Specimen preparation: select representative GRC panels (size 1200mm×1200mm, thickness consistent with actual application), with a quantity of ≥3; specimens must be identical to the actual installation nodes (including anchors and keels), and Qinglong's specimen fabrication strictly replicates the actual project construction. Equipment requirements: use a wind tunnel test bench or static pressure box testing equipment, with pressure control accuracy of ±0.1kPa and displacement measurement accuracy of ±0.1mm; all equipment at Qinglong's partner testing institutions has passed metrological certification. Environmental conditions: testing environment temperature of 20±5℃ and humidity of 45%-75% to avoid interference from environmental factors; Qinglong calibrates environmental parameters before testing.
II. Testing Process: Step Loading and Data Collection
Load step by step following the standard process and record key data. Preloading: apply 50% of the estimated maximum wind pressure, hold for 30 seconds, then unload; formal testing begins after confirming the specimens show no abnormalities, and Qinglong focuses on checking for loose nodes during the preloading stage. Step loading: starting from 0, increase by 0.2kPa per step and hold each step for 60 seconds, recording specimen displacement until deformation exceeds the limit or failure occurs; Qinglong monitors displacement changes in real time during step loading. Data collection: record the maximum deformation and residual deformation under each wind pressure level and plot the wind pressure-deformation curve; Qinglong's data collection frequency is ≥10 times per step to ensure data completeness.
III. Result Determination and Qinglong's Practice
Determine the performance grade according to the standard to guide practical application. Determination criteria: wind pressure deformation performance is classified into Grades 1-5, with Grade 3 or above meeting the needs of most buildings (deformation ≤L/300, where L is the specimen side length); Qinglong's conventional GRC curtain walls all reach Grade 4 or above. Failure determination: if cracks ≥0.3mm wide appear, anchors loosen, or panels fall off, it is judged as failure and testing is terminated; Qinglong's specimens fail at wind pressure of ≥1.5kPa, far exceeding design requirements. Project case: the GRC curtain wall of Hainan Changying Global 100 Fantasy Land was tested at wind pressure deformation Grade 5 with wind load resistance ≥2.0kPa, and has remained free of deformation through multiple typhoons.
