Dimensional deviation control is a core quality requirement in UHPC component production, directly affecting installation accuracy, decorative effect, and structural safety. Leveraging 28 years of experience in the UHPC/GRC/GRG/GRP industry, Qinglong Group has established a dimensional deviation control system covering the entire production process, strictly complying with the General Technical Conditions for Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) Non-Load-Bearing Components, keeping dimensional deviations at an industry-leading level.
I. Core Control Standards for Dimensional Deviation of UHPC Components
Combining industry standards with engineering practice, Qinglong has established refined dimensional deviation control standards: linear dimension (length, width) deviation ≤ ±3mm, thickness deviation ≤ ±2mm, and for oversized components (area ≥ 8㎡), linear dimension deviation ≤ ±5mm. Flatness deviation ≤ 2mm/m, diagonal deviation ≤ 5mm, verticality deviation ≤ 3mm/m. Hole position deviation ≤ 2mm and embedded part position deviation ≤ 3mm ensure precise installation and connection. In the production of 12㎡ UHPC faux-wood light-transmitting panels for the Shanghai New World project, Qinglong kept the length deviation within ±2.5mm and flatness deviation ≤ 1.8mm/m, far exceeding industry standards. For highly decorative components (such as stone-imitation moldings and carved panels), contour dimension deviation is additionally controlled to ≤ ±1mm to ensure the overall effect after assembly.
II. Full-Process Technical Measures for Dimensional Deviation Control
Mold precision is the foundation of dimensional control. Qinglong manufactures molds using CNC machining technology, with steel mold machining precision ≤ ±0.5mm, while fiberglass and polyurethane molds are modeled through 3D scanning to ensure mold dimensional deviation ≤ ±1mm. During production, BIM models are compared with the molds for verification, and trial mold assembly and adjustment are carried out before each production batch. During the casting stage, locating pins and stop blocks fix component positions, and laser rangefinders monitor dimensional changes in real time, controlling casting height deviation ≤ 1mm. During the curing stage, constant temperature and humidity curing is adopted to avoid component deformation caused by thermal stress, and slow cooling is applied during the cooling stage (rate ≤ 10℃/h) to reduce shrinkage deformation. After demolding, full-dimensional inspection is performed on components; 3D data is acquired with laser scanners and compared with the design models, and components exceeding the deviation limits are ground and corrected or scrapped.
III. Specialized Dimensional Deviation Control for Different Component Types
For flat-panel UHPC components (such as exterior wall panels and ceiling panels), the focus is on flatness and thickness uniformity. Qinglong adopts double-sided mold casting combined with high-frequency vibration to ensure thickness deviation ≤ ±1.5mm and flatness ≤ 1.5mm/m; for example, the UHPC flat-panel components of the Shenzhen Yirui Biotechnology Building achieved a 100% flatness compliance rate. Special-shaped components (such as double-curved panels and curved moldings) are produced using parametric design and segmented mold fabrication, with each mold segment's dimensional deviation ≤ ±1mm and mortise-and-tenon structures at the joints to ensure overall dimensional deviation ≤ ±3mm—the double-curved UHPC exterior wall panels of the Guangxi New Media Center adopted this solution. For openwork components, the focus is on controlling the dimensions and positions of the openings, with hole diameter deviation ≤ ±1mm and hole position deviation ≤ 2mm; Qinglong ensures precise dimensions of the openwork areas through dedicated core mold positioning and laser inspection.
IV. Qinglong's Precision Control Advantages and Engineering Practice
As a National High-Tech Enterprise, Qinglong has a provincial engineering technology center and advanced inspection equipment, enabling precise detection and control of dimensional deviations. Leveraging its participation in the formulation of industry standards, Qinglong incorporates its own practical experience into standard clauses, promoting the standardization of dimensional control across the industry. In the Dongguan Women and Children's Activity Center project, all dimensional deviations of the GRC/UHPC composite components produced by Qinglong were controlled within the allowable range, with installation joint widths ≤ 2mm, earning high recognition from the designers and the owner. To date, Qinglong's dimensional deviation control technology has been applied to thousands of projects nationwide, and its products have been exported to overseas markets such as Malaysia and Australia, making the company a benchmark for precision control in the industry.
Dimensional deviation control is a direct reflection of UHPC component quality. Qinglong Group has always upheld the principle of "meticulous attention to detail and constant pursuit of excellence," exercising full control from mold design and production to inspection and acceptance. In the future, Qinglong will continue to introduce advanced technologies and equipment and optimize its dimensional deviation control system, providing customers with higher-precision UHPC component products and helping to achieve a perfect presentation of architectural decoration.
