Major overhaul requires comprehensive performance testing of the GRC exterior wall, including impermeability, strength, and durability, to assess structural safety. Severely aged GRC panels are replaced, connection systems are reinforced, and all sealant and anti-corrosion coatings are renewed. In the Shenzhen Longhua Xiangshan Science and Technology Park project, the 8-year overhaul involved comprehensive testing and repair, restoring the GRC exterior wall's performance to its initial state and extending its service life.
