In high-temperature regions (temperature ≥35°C, humidity ≤60%), GRC exterior walls must avoid rapid moisture evaporation, which requires three approaches: "production process optimization, enhanced surface protection, and post-installation curing". The core goal is to prevent surface cracking and strength loss. Through high-pressure vibration, moisture-retentive curing, and specialized coatings, Qinglong has achieved a 99.8% pass rate for GRC panels in high-temperature projects in Xinjiang and Panzhihua, Sichuan.
I. Production Process Optimization: Enhancing Internal Density
Process optimization reduces moisture evaporation channels. High-pressure vibration: ≥0.5MPa high-pressure vibration is applied during production, achieving GRC internal density ≥2.2g/cm³; Qinglong's high-pressure vibration equipment ensures an air bubble rate ≤3%. Vacuum degassing: removes internal pores and reduces moisture penetration paths; Qinglong's vacuum degassing reduces porosity by 80%. Steam curing: 48 hours of steam curing at 45-50°C ensures full hydration; after Qinglong's curing, GRC reaches 90% of its design strength at 7 days, with a dense hydration layer forming on the surface. Aggregate gradation: continuously graded quartz sand (0.15-0.6mm) is selected to reduce capillary pores; Qinglong's aggregates have a mud content ≤0.3%, reducing the moisture evaporation rate by 30%.
II. Enhanced Surface Protection: Blocking Moisture Evaporation Paths
Surface protection directly locks in internal moisture. Specialized waterproof coatings: fluorocarbon varnish or silane impregnation agent is applied to form a protective film; Qinglong's silane impregnation agent penetrates to a depth ≥3mm, reducing the moisture evaporation rate by 50%. Shading and heat-insulation coatings: light-colored reflective coatings are used to lower surface temperature; Qinglong's reflective coatings reduce surface temperature by 8-10°C, weakening the driving force for moisture evaporation. Sealing treatment: panel joints and nodes are filled with weather-resistant sealant to prevent moisture from evaporating through gaps; Qinglong's sealant has an elongation rate ≥500% and does not age under high temperatures.
III. Post-Installation Curing and Qinglong Project Practice
Post-installation curing prevents later moisture loss. Moisture-retentive curing: after installation, panels are covered with geotextile or cured by misting, with watering 2-3 times daily; Qinglong extends the curing period to 14 days for high-temperature projects, keeping surfaces moist with no drying. Shading measures: shading canopies are erected at construction sites to avoid intense sun exposure; at a Qinglong project in Xinjiang, a shading canopy combined with mist curing resulted in not a single panel cracking. Project cases: for the Panzhihua Third-Front construction project in Sichuan (summer maximum temperature 40°C), Qinglong's anti-evaporation solution has kept the GRC curtain wall panels free of surface sanding and cracking after 8 years of use. At a municipal project in Xinjiang, under high-temperature and dry conditions, the moisture evaporation rate of GRC panels was kept below 0.5kg/(m²·d), with a strength retention rate ≥95%. Technical advantage: Qinglong has developed a high-temperature-specific GRC formula with added water-retaining agents, extending moisture retention time by 50%, making it suitable for extreme high-temperature environments.
