The core technical specifications of fireproof GRC decorative panels must comply with the "Classification for Burning Behavior of Building Materials and Products" (GB 8624) and the "Technical Standard for Building Application of Glass Fibre Reinforced Cement (GRC)" (JGJ/T423-2018). The core indicators include burning performance (Class A1), fire resistance limit (≥0.5h), smoke toxicity (Class AQ1), and burning droplets (non-igniting). Through material formula optimization and process control, Qinglong has achieved a 100% compliance rate for all indicators of its fireproof GRC panels, and public building projects such as the Wuhan Han Show Theatre and Shenzhen Pingshan High-Tech Zone have all passed fire safety acceptance.
I. Burning Performance: Core Non-Combustibility Indicator
Burning performance is the fundamental requirement of fire protection. Burning performance class: must reach Class A1 (non-combustible material), with no open-flame combustion and no smoldering; tested under GB/T 5464, Qinglong GRC panels show an oxygen index ≥60%, meeting non-combustibility requirements. Base material non-combustibility: both the cement matrix and alkali-resistant glass fibers are non-combustible materials free of organic combustibles, and the combustible content of Qinglong's base material is ≤0.5%, eliminating fire risk at the source. Calorific value: gross calorific value ≤2.0MJ/kg and net calorific value ≤1.4MJ/kg; Qinglong's test data are 1.8MJ/kg and 1.2MJ/kg respectively, far below the standard limits.
II. Fire Resistance Limit and Smoke Toxicity Control: Key to Safety Protection
Fire resistance limit and smoke toxicity safeguard safe escape for occupants. Fire resistance limit: depending on the application, exterior wall panels require ≥0.5h and partition wall panels ≥1.0h; Qinglong's exterior fireproof GRC panels achieve a fire resistance limit of 0.6h and partition panels 1.2h, meeting public building requirements. Smoke toxicity class: must reach Class AQ1 (non-toxic), with carbon monoxide in smoke ≤500ppm and hydrogen cyanide ≤10ppm; Qinglong's smoke toxicity test data are 350ppm and 8ppm respectively, with no toxic gas release. Burning droplets: no igniting droplets (no dripping at a high temperature of 600°C); in Qinglong's 700°C high-temperature test, no dripping occurred, preventing ignition of combustibles below.
III. Qinglong's Fireproofing Technology Optimization and Project Practice
Technical optimization improves the stability of fireproof performance. Material modification: adding inorganic fire-retardant fillers (such as magnesium hydroxide at a dosage of 5-8%) enhances the fire resistance limit, extending the fire resistance time of Qinglong's modified fireproof GRC panels by 20%. Process control: high-pressure vibration compaction brings panel density to ≥2.2g/cm³, reducing porosity and delaying flame penetration; Qinglong's density compliance rate is 100%. Testing verification: every batch is sent to a third-party testing agency, and products may leave the factory only after the fire performance indicators are qualified; Qinglong's factory inspection pass rate is 99.8%. Project case: the 15mm-thick fireproof GRC carved panels at the Wuhan Han Show Theatre, with Class A1 burning performance and a 0.6h fire resistance limit, successfully passed fire safety acceptance, becoming a benchmark for fireproof decoration in cultural landmark projects.
