Once UHPC exterior wall panels on high-rise residential buildings fall off, serious safety accidents can occur. Anti-detachment measures must be taken across the entire process of design, materials, installation, and maintenance to build a multi-layered safety guarantee system. Drawing on its experience in high-rise residential projects, Qinglong analyzes the core anti-detachment measures and practical specifications.
I. Foundational Anti-Detachment Safeguards at the Design Stage
Scientific design is the core prerequisite for anti-detachment and requires full consideration of load and environmental factors. Load calculation optimization: accurately calculate the self-weight of UHPC panels, wind loads, seismic loads, etc., and select connectors and supporting structures of sufficient strength; the load-bearing capacity of connectors must be ≥1.5 times the design value. In the Nanjing Agile Binjiang Garden project, Qinglong ensured structural safety through precise load calculations. Multi-point anchoring design: each UHPC panel must have no fewer than 4 anchor points, evenly distributed at the four corners and the middle of the panel to avoid single-point loading; large-size panels require additional intermediate support points. Anti-fall structural design: anti-fall supports are installed at the bottom of panels so that even if connectors fail, the supports can temporarily carry the load and prevent panels from falling; Qinglong uses stainless steel anti-fall supports to enhance safety redundancy.
II. Anti-Detachment Control in Materials and Production
Material quality and production precision directly affect connection reliability and must be strictly controlled. UHPC material strength: ensure the compressive strength of UHPC is ≥120MPa and the flexural strength is ≥20MPa to prevent damage and detachment caused by insufficient material strength; the measured strength of Qinglong UHPC far exceeds standard requirements. Connector selection: use 304 stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized connectors with excellent corrosion resistance to prevent rust-related failure; coastal areas require 316 stainless steel connectors. Production precision control: ensure UHPC panel dimensional deviation is ≤±2mm and reserved connector hole position deviation is ≤1mm to prevent uneven loading caused by installation deviations; Qinglong's automated production lines guarantee production precision and reduce installation risks.
III. Strengthened Anti-Detachment Measures During Installation
Standardized installation procedures are the key line of defense against detachment and must be strictly followed. Connector installation: ensure connectors are firmly fixed to the substrate; panels must be installed only after chemical anchor adhesive has fully cured (no less than 24 hours), and mechanical anchors must be tightened to the specified torque. Gap control: reserve a 5-10mm elastic gap between UHPC panels and the substrate to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction, preventing stress concentration that could damage connectors. Sealing and reinforcement: fill panel joints with high-modulus silicone sealant to enhance overall stability, and apply secondary reinforcement to connectors to prevent loosening. Installation acceptance: conduct pull-out tests after each panel is installed; a single connector must achieve a pull-out force of ≥10kN before the next panel may be installed. Qinglong has established a double-inspection acceptance system to ensure installation quality.
IV. Anti-Detachment Monitoring and Safeguards During Operation and Maintenance
Long-term maintenance and monitoring can promptly detect hidden hazards and prevent detachment accidents. Regular inspection system: inspect UHPC exterior wall panels once every six months, focusing on connector corrosion, panel loosening, sealant aging, and similar issues, with additional special inspections after typhoons or heavy rainstorms each year. Maintenance and reinforcement measures: promptly replace corroded connectors, repair aged sealant in time, and reinforce panels as soon as fine cracks appear; Qinglong provides lifetime maintenance services for high-rise residential projects with regular on-site inspections. Intelligent monitoring system: high-end projects can install intelligent monitoring sensors to track panel displacement and connector stress changes in real time, issuing timely warnings in case of anomalies to identify safety hazards in advance and raise the level of intelligent safeguarding against detachment.
