The automated production lines of UHPC manufacturers significantly improve product performance stability through precise control of production processes. Compared with traditional manual production, they offer notable advantages in consistency, precision, and reliability, making them key to quality assurance for high-end projects. Drawing on its experience operating automated production lines, Qinglong analyzes the core improvement dimensions and technical value.
1. Improved Precision in Raw Material Proportioning and Mixing
Automated production lines achieve precise control over the entire raw material handling process. In the batching stage, an electronic metering system with an error of ≤±0.1% eliminates proportion deviations caused by manual batching, ensuring stable mechanical properties of UHPC materials. Qinglong's production line enforces strict batching precision control, reducing the compressive strength fluctuation range to ±3MPa. In the mixing stage, a twin-shaft forced mixer with automatic control of mixing speed and time ensures uniform material blending, with steel fiber distribution deviation ≤5%, preventing localized strength deficiencies. Raw material pretreatment is automated, with integrated drying and sieving of quartz sand keeping the moisture content below 0.5%, reducing the impact of ambient humidity on performance and raising the product pass rate to over 99%.
2. Standardized Control of Molding and Curing Processes
Automated molding and curing processes ensure product consistency. In the molding stage, high-pressure spray molding or vibration molding technology is used, with precisely adjustable pressure and vibration frequency, ensuring uniform density of UHPC panels, porosity controlled below 3%, and surface flatness error ≤0.5mm/m. In the curing stage, constant temperature and humidity curing chambers maintain the temperature at 20±2℃ and humidity ≥95%, with automatic management of the curing cycle to avoid uneven strength development caused by natural curing, achieving a 100% pass rate for 28-day strength. Demolding is automated using a hydraulic demolding system, preventing edge and corner damage caused by manual demolding. Qinglong's production line has reduced the demolding damage rate to below 0.2%, significantly improving product integrity.
3. Improved Stability of Dimensional Accuracy and Surface Quality
Automated production lines greatly improve the stability of product dimensions and surface quality. Mold positioning uses a CNC system with a dimensional deviation of ≤±0.3mm, ensuring strong interchangeability of mass-produced UHPC panels and uniform joint gaps. Surface treatment is automated; through processes such as mechanical grinding and acid pickling, surface roughness Ra is controlled within 3.2-6.3μm and color uniformity ΔE≤1.5, avoiding uneven texture and color differences caused by manual treatment. An online inspection system monitors product dimensions and surface defects in real time, allowing timely adjustments when issues are found, ensuring every product meets quality standards. Through automated inspection, Qinglong achieves a 100% surface defect detection rate.
4. Ensuring Production Efficiency and Batch Consistency
While improving efficiency, automated production lines also ensure stability between batches. Production efficiency is increased by more than 40%, with a single production line capable of a daily output of 500㎡, suitable for rapid delivery of large-volume projects. Parameters between batches are strictly standardized, with fully traceable records of raw material batches, mixing parameters, curing conditions, etc., avoiding performance differences between different batches. Human intervention is reduced, lowering quality fluctuations caused by operational errors. Long-term production data shows that the performance fluctuation range of products from automated production lines is 60% smaller than that of manual production, providing stable and reliable material assurance for large-scale projects.
