Digital technology provides precise and efficient solutions for GRC curtain wall installation, effectively addressing problems in traditional installation such as large positioning deviations, high coordination difficulty, and difficult quality control. By integrating BIM, 3D scanning, drones and other technologies to achieve full-process digital management and control, Qinglong analyzes core application scenarios based on practices from multiple landmark projects.
1. BIM Technology: Full-Process Visualized Collaborative Design
BIM technology runs through the entire installation process, achieving precise connection between design and construction. During the detailed design phase, an integrated BIM model of the GRC curtain wall and the main structure is established to optimize component layout, node connections, and installation paths, preemptively avoiding collision risks. In the double-curved GRC curtain wall project of the Guangxi New Media Center, Qinglong used the BIM model to resolve installation interference issues of complex curved components. During the construction phase, the BIM model is used for visualized technical disclosure, intuitively demonstrating installation steps and key control points. Combined with RFID technology for component labeling, real-time tracking of installation progress and quality traceability are achieved, greatly improving construction coordination efficiency and reducing the rework rate by more than 30%.
2. 3D Laser Scanning: Precise Positioning and Deviation Correction
3D laser scanning technology achieves precise installation positioning and effectively controls errors. Before construction, the main structure is scanned to obtain actual dimensional data, which is compared with the BIM model to generate deviation analysis reports, allowing early adjustment of component dimensions and installation plans. During installation, already-installed components are scanned in real time to obtain 3D coordinate data, which is compared with the design model to ensure installation precision within ±2mm. In the Dongting Lake Museum project, Qinglong used this technology to control the installation error of GRC artificial stone components within ±1.5mm. For irregular curved components, scanning data is used to generate actual installation paths, guiding precise on-site construction and avoiding installation deviations caused by complex shapes.
3. Drone Inspection: Safety and Quality Monitoring for High-Altitude Work
Drone technology provides safe and efficient monitoring means for high-altitude GRC curtain wall installation. Drones equipped with high-definition cameras and infrared thermal imagers conduct all-around inspections of high-altitude curtain wall installation quality, focusing on component joints, fastening conditions of connectors, and surface defects, replacing traditional manual high-altitude inspections with efficiency improvements of more than 50% while avoiding high-altitude work risks. Image data captured by drones is used to establish installation process archives, facilitating later quality traceability and problem investigation. In the Hainan Changying Global 100 project, Qinglong used drones to achieve full-process monitoring of GRC curtain wall installation, ensuring construction quality met standards.
4. Digital Construction Management: Efficiency Improvement and Risk Control
The digital management platform integrates multi-dimensional data to achieve full-process construction management and control. The platform aggregates real-time data such as component production progress, transportation status, and installation progress, achieving precise supply chain coordination and avoiding component overstock or shortage. Mobile terminal apps are used to record installation process acceptance results and upload site photos and inspection data, enabling real-time reporting of quality issues and rectification tracking. Big data analysis of common problems during installation helps optimize construction plans and reduce risks. In the Guangzhou Dongzhu Shangdu Commercial City project, Qinglong used the digital management platform to shorten the GRC curtain wall installation period by 20% and increase the quality pass rate to 99.5%.
