The color variation of GRC decorative panels stems from multiple stages including raw materials, production, and construction, requiring systematic control to be effectively avoided. In the Dongguan Women and Children Activity Center project, Qinglong achieved a color consistency of over 98% for GRC curtain wall panels through full-process control, earning high recognition from both the designers and the client.

Raw Material Uniformity: Controlling the Color Baseline at the Source

Aggregates such as cement and quartz sand from the same batch are selected to ensure consistent color of the raw materials themselves, avoiding base color differences caused by different raw material batches. High weather-resistant mineral pigments are selected, with proportions uniformly prepared by dedicated personnel. The proportioning error is ≤1%, and records are archived to ensure consistent slurry color for each batch. Qinglong has established raw material procurement and storage standards, with materials for the same project purchased centrally and stored separately to prevent color deviations caused by mixing.

Standardized Production Processes: Reducing Color Fluctuations During Production

Automated equipment is used for slurry mixing, with mixing time and rotation speed uniformly set to ensure pigments and aggregates are mixed evenly, avoiding uneven color caused by manual mixing. The curing environment is uniformly controlled, with temperature maintained at 20-25°C and humidity ≥90%, preventing color changes caused by differences in curing conditions. Qinglong has set up dedicated curing areas in its production workshop, using an intelligent temperature and humidity control system to ensure all GRC panels are cured under the same conditions, reducing color fluctuations.

Optimized Installation Layout: Visually Eliminating Minor Color Differences

Before leaving the factory, GRC panels are pre-arranged and classified by color shade, with panels of similar colors selected for the same facade to avoid alternating light and dark. Installation follows the "large areas first, then details" principle to ensure overall color harmony; minor color differences are visually minimized by adjusting installation positions. In the Dongting Lake Museum project, Qinglong installed stone-imitation GRC panels after pre-arrangement, achieving uniform overall color and perfectly replicating the visual effect of natural stone.
